About Seeing Through

People think I read minds. I don't. I read bodies, and what those bodies are about to cost the people living in them.

I'm Julian Vance. For twenty years I worked for insurance carriers as a behavioral profiler, deciding whether a body was telling the truth about how it felt. An insurance claim is the moment a body becomes a dollar figure. After watching that happen for two decades, I stopped treating health and money as separate subjects.

Seeing Through reads the body for two things at once:

the illness it may be quietly preparing, and the money decision it has already half-made. Every file starts with a stranger I watched in New York and one small thing their body gave away. Then comes the biology behind it, what the evidence says, and one thing you can do today.

I'm not a doctor, and I'm not a financial advisor.

A new file arrives every morning and takes about four minutes to read. Subscribe, and the next one lands in your inbox.
